Excellent food and service

One of my absolute favorite places in town. They have the best beef shawarma I have ever had. I have tried it at least at 15 pretty places. The best. Strongly suggest getting the beef shawarma platter and a side of hummus with extra pita bread.... Not the beef shawarma on a bed of hummus because beer deal to get the way suggested before. But seriously the beef shawarma is one of the greats. Can get it to go. Can get it for party too. Other food served is good but I've ordered the beef shawarma every time the last thirty times I have been there. The hummus is right there with the shawarma.

Up the street from the West Side Market and somewhat easy to miss, this is a Middle Eastern restaurant that serves the usual fare along with deli sandwiches. Like all restaurants whose owners hail from that part of the world, the service is OK but missing a certain gentle touch that's immediately noticeable and seemingly hard to remedy. The food is well prepped, looks and tastes authentic with the exception of the shish tawook sandwich that lacks any vegetables and feels like half an effort to do the right thing. Prices are reasonable but climb quickly if you order multiple appetizers.

I love this Lebanese restaurant. My husband and I shared a combo plate. The tabouli was the freshest Ive ever had. Don't plan on sitting around if they're busy. Finish eating go up to the register tell him what you had and you're out the door

Lebanese family run Middle-Eastern restaurant. Its a real joy to eat there. The fatoosh is so fresh I could eat it every day and never get tired of it. And this place makes Stuffed Grape Leaves, which I find very hard to get. And they are delicious. Cash only is my only gripe, but worth it.

Great old school Mediterranean food. Very reasonably priced. Do not skip the stuffed grape leaves. One of the last remaining pre gentrification establishments on West 25 by the Westside Market.

I got to visit an old friend. I started eating at Nate's during grad school, and remember the food was delicious. 25+ years later it is still good. Had baba ghanoush, tabouli and a gyro, for lunch today, and it was as good as I remembered. PS my son liked his platter.

The food here was absolutely sensational. I had a falafel wrap, a small order of grape leaves, and a small gyro. As I ate, I was convinced each choice was the best possible option.

Try the grape leaf with beef and rice it's delicious I personally ate the Reuben on rye probably one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have in the area. The portions were fair for the prices charged.

The small little family-owned restaurant has been a favorite place of mine for I don't know how long. Whenever I want Lebanese food this is the place I run to. If you are a vegetarian try the falafel platter or a side of tabouli. If you're a meat eater everything's good, ei Kafta roll kibbeh balls.

Best hummus in town. Consistently great deli and Middle Eastern fare. Glad that Nate's added french fries after all these years. Love the low key vibe when dining in.

Best AUTHENTIC grape leaves EVEEERRR! It's hard to find grape leaves that's aren't fat-oily-or tough... Until now!!! I love both the meat AND traditional grape leaves and drive an hour to order them to go 😁Hummus equally YUMMY, FANTASTIC turnips, lean-delicious-healthy portion of corned beef on Rye!This is my go to place for Mediterranean authentic food- quaint, cozy, casual diner setting (although during lunch hours you'll see lots of 'suits'😉), that's CLEAN!

Great food. I’ve been coming here for 30 years. Amazing service, same friendly server! I had their hummus, dolmathes and soup today. I’ve never been disappointed. Their prices are great and so are the portions. They take credit and have fries now. I guess it’s been years, so I need to go back again soon. First time for my fiancé. He loved it. They make the BEST homemade lemonade when it’s warm out.

Nate's is only about the food. They get it out quick and perfect. Mediterranean food is amazing. The hummus has a creamy texture that is second to none, so amazing. I always get a quart of pickled turnips to go. They are A TREAT. Grilled items can be a bit strong on the flavor side, which I love, garlic lovers can feel at home. Also their Fatoush is the best in Cleveland.

Best Arabic food I’ve had in Cleveland hands down. Let me put it like this, I’ve been here for about 20 min and I’ve been happy for 20 min all the way through the last bite.

Okay restaurant. Got the taouk plate and the chicken brochette was a bit dry. The rice was good. The salad and the sauce tasted a bit too sour for my taste. The portion is pretty generous. The price is okay. The waitress was nice and helpful.

Nate's is always amazing. The staff is nice and provide excellent service and the food reminds me of my grandmother's Lebanese cooking. Everytime I have to be downtown for work, I always choose to eat here.

Stop in to get a bite. Long narrow seating area with two window seats one on either sides of the Door, with great view of what's happening on the street. The room was simple. Cashier/waiter came over with menuew. We placed our order for the vegetarian sample platter...we were not disapointed.

Authentic homemade middle Eastern cooking the best kibbeh nayyeh around . When the wife and I have a day off of work and we visit our lovely city of Cleveland we always make sure to stop here and have a middle eastern feast and I can honestly say it is good middle Eastern food because I am Lebanese and was raised on it

Quite honestly I feel badly for the residents of Cleveland, this place is somehow a staple of your town yet the authenticity and flavor lacks when compared to a quality Mediterranean establishment, you folks might be fooling Clevlanders but this guy knows good Mediterranean and Nates doesn’t compare, I recommend a place called the “Beirut” in Toledo Ohio if you would like the real deal.... my 2 star rating is generous and the woman working the counter??? Well there’s a special place for her cuz she isn’t friendly and her restaurant, like her, is trash.

Been coming here for 25 years and it never fails to satisfy! To be honest, I've never ordered anything other than the delicious, homemade Lebanese food. Pro tip: Park in back and come in through the kitchen 😉
